Connect FEMALE TALENT, MENtors, companies, and sponsors
TapTheTalent (TTT) connects these four pillars to help empower girls and women and spur creative disruption in the tech industry to lead to a better world.
- Women who want to benefit from the explosion of IT opportunities:
- Learn new technologies in computing, become an entrepreneur, move up in technical or leadership roles, or change careers to IT
- Mentors who want to make a difference and earn money at the side:
- Offer remote, one-on-one counseling services (volunteer or paid) to women
- Companies who want to recruit the best female talent:
- Advertise job positions, training sessions, and experiential programs to attract, develop, and retain female talent, thereby enriching product innovation, boosting workplace culture, and improving business performance
- Sponsors who want to improve gender diversity in IT:
- Extend financial (e.g. scholarships to women, awards to mentors and companies) and non-financial support (e.g. speaker series, meet-up space) to promote gender balance in engineering and leadership positions in IT
TapTheTalent enables IT companies to establish experiential programs to train STEM students in software development projects in order to build a cost-effective pipeline of vetted and diverse tech talent for full-time hire.
